2000 Silverado 4WD LT. New Dec. 1999. now ahs 19,000 miles

I pushed 4wd while in park. The indicator lights went out and will not shift out of 2WD. I am told it is the 4WD module. I would like some input as this is an expensive part.

Check the T CASE & 4WD fuses in the instrument panel fuse block 1st. Then get it scanned for codes to see what's really wrong before throwing parts at it.
