hey, i just wanted to get some opinions about my air cleaner, do you think it looks better with the air cleaner i got on it right now, or do you like the look of the stock shaker better? i don't got a pic of my car with the shaker, but here's a pic of my car with the current air cleaner and a pick of another t/a with the stock shaker.

yours prob gets the air in better but the shaker (black) one is more hi tech looking.

I guess its what your going for and what makes you happy... both are cool but I would lean towards black.

i love the shaker, i think it looks bad. i love them when you stop and sit there and shake!!

off topic but i thinking about getting the big firebird that is on that hood tattooed on the top of my arm,lol i think it will look sweet, or a big one on my back.

I think the shaker definitely looks better. The other way looks like someone just cut a hole in the hood. Kinda looks like the low budget street stock racers they run here on the dirt tracks. Does K&N make a filter so the shaker setup?

i dont think k&n makes a specific filter for it but i know im gettin one of them max flow things from them so it can breathe from the top of the filter as well as the sides...

you mother fuckers..me too!...i am planning a sic firebird tattoo thats gonna start on my arm and fade into flames on my back.

lol i thought i was the only one crazy enough to want a big ass firebird tattoo, i talked to a tattoo artist about 2 weeks ago and he did a firebird on another guy, showed me the pic, he did a real good job so i've been thinking of getting one too.

anyway, i think i'm gonna try to take the k&n air filter out of the k&n air cleaner and fit it in the shaker so that i still got a k&n air filter and don't have to try and find a different one custom fit to the shaker, and ya, the more i started to look at the air cleaner, the less i liked it, i think it's time to go back to the shaker, thanks for the input guys :)

good luck i had to order a custom air filter from K & N for mine but it looks sooo good.

P.S i have an extra shaker set up if you need one.

i still got my old one in my closet, but it's broken on the front, so the weather seal just kind of hangs there :p

what kind of condition is your extra shaker in? pretty much all the one's i've seen on ebay and stuff are in the same condition if not worse.

its in ready to paint condition its primer grey and was sanded and made to perfection before i primered it its just sitting in my garage of goodies ill get a picture of it for you.

I would definately go shaker no doubts, can't beat that look.

Hey fuzzy what size engine is that it looks like you got pleany of room in there mines a 400 and i dont think you could fit a sheet of paper between the headers and the wheel wells soo im thinking thats a .... ??

By the way Pontiac Dude makes one that is taller than the stock one.

it's a 301, getting a pontiac 350 put in right away though.

a taller then stock shaker, i wonder if that would look better...
