Are they insane?alphalanos 02-21-2006, 12:06 AM I went to my local AutoWay Honda today hoping to order a set of Si rear swaybar endlinks. I figured about $30 tops....wrong. They wanted almost $120 for two damn peices of metal. I thought maybe it was the whole swaybar assembly but no, just the links!!! I went to Advance auto and ordered them for $20 each, which will be in tomorrow. :icon16: I cant beleive this robbery! tom3 02-23-2006, 01:34 PM Ever put a water pump or alternator on a Honda? Second mortgage on the house. That Civic Si is a sweet machine though. Me want! alphalanos 02-23-2006, 02:14 PM I just put a Durlast alternator on the Civic. It was $240, but then I got $80 back for my old one. I dont even want to know how much Honda dealer wants. I wont be going back there anytime soon. :grinno: gw84 07-26-2006, 08:22 PM that's freakin' crazy. Those dealers jack the prices up so darn high. I had to have a new oil dipstick (those geniuses at my former oil change place broke mine). The dealership wanted like $12....for a damn dipstick!!! I could have got one at the junkyard for a buck. I bought the $12 one anyway, the speedy lube ate the cost!! that'll teach 'em. That's dumb. That's why many people refer to them as "stealerships", not dealerships:lol:. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
