The atuomatic door locks do not open the door, you can press the remote and it doesn't work either, yet if you press the trunk release on the remote that works.

The door locks on the car handle will not locl/unlock the doors either, yet you can hear a faint tick.

We have 2 remotes, and we purchased new batteries for them thinking that was the problem, it is not.

The fuses are good as well.

Another problem is the trunk, it has the feature where it closes slowly(where the motor brings the trunk down).. well it no longer works as well....I have no clue how to fix that one either.

You said that you could hear a faint "click" so you have voltage going to your actuators. Check your door lock relay (switch it with another one from another component that uses the same type of relay) and see what happends. Also, is your car equipped with the auto lock feature whenever you shift out of park? If so, the control module that activates the pwr locks may be faulty causing them not to work altogether.

The automatic door locks, trunk pull down, and fuel door popper all run on one 20A fuse. It is fuse number 1 located in the right hand side fuse panel - under the kick panel and on the right. Fuse 1 is topmost and leftmost fuse. You can see the fuse panel faintly behind and under the glove box. You must remove the kick panel to get access -4 screws and 3 wing nuts.
