Hey guys quick question....

Is it possible to swap an engine from a 1996 Intrepid, into a newer 2000 Intrepid? The reason I ask is because I currently own a 96 which I wanted to sell, and I just found a 00' intrepid for sale for $1,000 that needs a new engine...and the engine in my current 96 Intrepid is working fine
So my questions...

Is it Possbile?
If so...How Hard?
Price Wise?

Thanks Guys

No,everything is differant and the body style is differant.I am guessing the 2000 has a p.o.s 2.7 in it.The best thing you can do to the 2000 is do a 2.7 to 3.2/3.5 conversion if it has a blown up 2.7.The 2.7 is expensive to fix.
