We just purchased a 2000 windstar and the mrs wants to install a factory 6 disk changer in it. It has the radio setup to run the ford changer, however I dont know where the factory wiring harnes comes out for the changer? The taurus's are in the trunk... the Explorer Limited has them in the arm rest... I did a quick search for "cd changer" on here and didnt come up with anything so without going into huge detail or searching for 4 hrs.. can someone tell me where the factory location is? Thanx !

Our 2000 SEL has the single indash cd & cassette so didn't bother thinking of the changer.

However, I think I remember it being in the center console, if you have that option.

My 1999 Windstar's CD changer is located under the driver's seat.

It was dealer installed, not factory installed.
