The quadrent behind the clutch pedal or under the dash how ever you want to look at it. Well it stripped out once replaced it and did it agian. What should I look for when putting this new one in. When stripped for the record the pedal goes half way in then snaps and sounds like a ratchet when you let off it.

Are you using an aftermarket quadrant or a factory one? The ones from Ford are plastic and the aftermarket ones are aluminum...Might try an aftermarket one and see if you still have the problem.

Yeah that is what i was thinking to got the OEM one cause I saw that i had no fluid/grease in my tranny and thought i would give that a shot. This dont work ill for sure get the aftermarket one.
