Here's a puzzle folks. I was car camping with the Boy Scouts a week ago in our 2003 Suburban. Left coolers with ice in vehicle overnight, by morning it was very humid inside vehicle, light film of water everywhere. Factory Remote entry on key fob did not work, front passenger door window, lock and seat warmer did not work. Also, when I turn off ignition - the radio stops - used to stop when I opened the door. Everythinig else is fine/normal. I tried re-programming the key fob transmitter and put in a new fob battery, but no difference. And my wife's fob, which did not go camping, does not work either. Any ideas? :banghead: Thanks!!

Have you checked ALL the fuse panels yet?

The one near the driver door, I have on on the floor near E brake in my '02 silverado, and also the one under the hood

Also maybe check out some of the threads about changing front door speakers; popping up the while switch assembly IS possible to do; but there's a trick to it.

Maybe if you pop off all wiring harnesses to the passenger side switches; you might have luck with the door lock stuff.. Just a thought

Good luck...

I pulled the fuse panels and looked at the fuse diagrams, but none of the fuse descriptions seemed to match any of the specific issues, so I did not pull any.

Open the driver's door and on the side of the dash there's a cover over a fuse box. Check the one marked DDM (driver's door module).

Whoa, you guys ROCK!! All is back to normal. I pulled the DDM and PDM fuses, both looked fine, but I replaced them anyway. Then I jiggled the Driver door harness, almost pulled it out of the socket in the fuse panel (must be a clip retaining it that I could not get a good hold of). Then the Pass door functions behaved normally, and the radio/electric stayed on after the ignition was turned off (until I opened the door). Also, the keyless entry programming responded properly, so both fobs work again. THANKS!! :grinyes:
