Ok...this is my first post on here; but I have been lurking for a few days now.
I have the opp. to purchase a 95 Z34 for 1800 bucks. it has a leather interior, new tires,, struts, brakes, "custom" paint job, K&N cold air intake, and was recently tuned. Owner says it has 173k on the odometer; and I was wondering if you guys think this is a fair price. I am learning as I go about the Monte Carlo in general and am also looking for any advice as to what to watch out for or even inquire about before purchasing the vehicle. I pretty much know from lurking about the head gaskets being crap; but what else can I look out for?? Thanks alot guys and I really appreciate all the help. :grinyes:

i decided to stay away from the monte. from all the posts on here i have come to the conclusion that they are JUNK.:shakehead

Any Montes without the 3.8 or the pre 1988 RWD are junk. THe 3.4 and the 3.1 eat head gaskets and have a whole host of problems.
