Hi everyone,

I am wanting to purchase a 95 or newer Geo, and the ones I look at don't come with a sunroof. So I was thinking about getting one and installing it.

Couple questions. Is it a bad idea? I've heard if you try to install one, it will leak. Also, is it difficult? I don't even know if parts are available to do it.

Thanks in advance.

www.streetbeatcustoms.com offers some nice options when it comes to sun roofs and ragtops. If you have the skills and tools to do this level of bodywork it is not a problem. Most cars with a sunroof were not manufactured on the assembly line with it, they were added afterwards, but it takes a lot of skill to install it without making a mistake. For it to look right you have to have the hole centered and straight. As far as leaks are concerned, a good kit, good sealants, and a good instalation should be leak free.
