View Full Version : Bad Smell. Like Vomit Bad Smell. Like Vomit BlueFusion6851 02-16-2006, 04:14 PM Thanks. stoned_pimp420 02-20-2006, 07:07 PM The only suggestion is to POUR a whole bottle of febreeze into the fresh air vents and to check the accuracy of your sig because I'm not using firefox, but I am using windows XP!!!! BlueFusion6851 02-21-2006, 08:45 PM LoL. A whole bottle? I heard Windex was better cause the ammonia kills the molecules causeing the bad smell. stoned_pimp420 02-22-2006, 10:48 AM HEY what happened to the sig thing? Oh and I don't know about the windex thing but I do know that the whole bottle of febreexe thing works because I've had to do it on my dads S15, it smelled like catpiss on the inside and well the febreeze helped a little when I sprayed it on the inside and then I sprayed some into the vents, and it helped a little more, so I just got frustrated and POURED the rest of the bottle into the vents with the vent on hi and haven't had a bad smell since. Andydg 03-01-2006, 10:47 AM Maybe some water is getting into the car and soaking into the carpet and pad and causing the nasty stench. sportsb4life7 03-14-2006, 04:18 PM wow u must be one really good friend.. i kno i would never clean the whole interior of one of my friends cars.. especially if it smelled bad only if i raced and lost and that was the bet or somethin lol theres a tool called a smell-o-meter where u can hold it and it will point u in the right direction of the bad smell.... i bought one off ebay <insert funny smiley here but i dont know how> sportsb4life7 03-14-2006, 04:21 PM lol by the way dont do what drunk-pimp did and pour a full bottle of fabreeze in the vent... he probaly did that and then turned it the vents on and inhaled a ton so he could get high.... lol im just kidding by the way Phoenix1 03-15-2006, 01:48 PM Meguiar's has an odor eliminator product, maybe it would work better than Febreeze ?! Also, it might be mold in the A/C, there are products (Kleen something at least for Mopar) that disinfect and remove the mold. Hofmeister 03-15-2006, 04:25 PM Try steam cleaning the carpet, floor mats, and upholstery. You can rent a team cleaner from any grocery store. I steam clean my car twice a year and it keeps the interior looking (and smelling) like new. dynastyperformance 08-12-2006, 09:51 PM try the frebreeze auto care that stuff works good Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
