Looking for a good comedy series...elementskater15 02-16-2006, 04:47 PM I just bought a roll of dynamat and new speakers and have $50 left over. I can't think of anything better to spend my money on than a new DVD set. I remember seeing something a while back about a dude that goes to live with his aunt's (or something) nunnery and there ends up being a bunch of chicks there. It seemed to be the same type as Love Hina, which was the funnies thing ever imo, and had pretty good reviews. I cant seem to find it. If someone can identify the series and possible give me some suggestions on a comedy series I'd be greatful. Later, thanks xviciousx 02-16-2006, 05:36 PM Happy Lesson teh funnay elementskater15 02-16-2006, 08:37 PM cool man, thanks. Happy Lesson is a comedy anime that's cheap, short, and funny as hell. Suggestion? elementskater15 02-17-2006, 04:56 PM So your suggesting that I buy Happy Lesson...got it. I thought you identified the one I gave the desription of as Happy Lesson. xviciousx 02-17-2006, 10:58 PM lol no, I'm saying pick up the series. I got it the same way, extra money and got bored. Damn you, I was supposed to type that statement out. Last time I get surgery done on my eyes and disappear for a week.... bastard. solsticeman2 12-17-2007, 11:09 AM I highly recommend GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka) - that's an excellent series. It's not too goofy (like some anime can be), and has just enough seriousness to keep you engaged with the characters. Plus, Onizuka is one of the coolest characters in anime (and the English voice actor is Steven Blum - the same guy that does the voice of Spike in Cowboy Bebop - bonus!). ~SolsticeMan~ EDIT: Advertising link removed NSX-R-SSJ20K 12-17-2007, 04:01 PM I live on the west coast and they just build a F.Y.E out here. Goldenboy is good for laughs.... its perverse, but incredibly funny. Drewet88 12-17-2007, 09:37 PM this thread is over a year old.... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
