TRC-2 Crane

is it possible to put the TCR-2 timming retard on a neon with the MP ECU?
I'm building my 12:1 motor and I need to retard the timming. Can I use this box or is only made for crane ignitions?

I wanna say the TCR2 is for turbo cars only and yes working with the Crane ignition. Don't know for sure though.

have you thought about using an adjustable cam gear to retard your timing?
you would be able to fine tune your motor then aswell

yeah, but it is different...... The spark will still advanced. only the event of TDC will get retarded with a cam gear... I can't explane it well, but it is a different timming. it is even more on a SOHC where all it does is to 'move' the power band up and down.
