Fuckign Head Bolts

ok im selling the head off my old motor and i cant get the fucking bolts off ive got 2 of them out and 3 of them striped is there something special i gota do to get htem off?!?!?!?! i really need to get it off today!

You're going to have to get a smaller socket and hammer it on to the head of the bolt and get it off that way. Then get me some pictures of the block. :)

i was planing on that :-D so just hammer a smaller socket onto it? then how am i gana get the bolt off the socket :-P

It should come off with a little wiggling. If not, just get a new socket, it probably won't be in that good of condition anyways after a hammer.

OK well i realized it was my dumb ass mistake i was using standard instead of metric lmao but i got the front 5 off and DEFIANTLY stripped the shit outa the back 5 so I'm going have to go to Lowe's tomorrow and buy one of those gaiter grips that forms to the socket.

You dont have a 420a.
I'll put money on the cause of the stripped head bolts being you not taking the cams out over you using a standard socket. If the front head bolts came out, the rears should have. Oh well, interesting on how you managed to get that off. Good job.

I've taken my head off before numerous times without removing the cams and I didn't strip a single head bolt.
