I'm not sure if i have a problem. just above idle, my engine has sort of a knocking that seems like it's actually coming from high up in the valve train. the last honda i had was a 92, this thing ran for 300,000 miles, and at one time before i junked it i wanted to see how long i could run it a quart low. would you believe that lasted for 50,000 miles?! i just could not kill this damn thing. so i believe in these engines. i'm thinking that maybe the noise coming from my 2000 ex is just normal. it only happens just above idle. i'f none of you have had this problem i'll sell it right away hopefully i'll get my money back. i'm freakin out here. help me out!:bloated:

That definately doesn't sound good. Any odd noise, espically knocking, coming from your engine can't be right.

I cant tell you what the problem is cause im not in the car drivin it. but i can tell you that this knockin problem is not good. Try puttin a higher octane in there to eliminate the knock and if that does not work. take it in to the dealer or local mechanic and he will fix.
