To the point.. 2000 Bonneville SLE. DIC displays change and chime randomly, Right Door ajar, Left Door Ajar chime and display Random,
Interior and Dome lights go on and off or just stay on, doors lock and unlock, rear windows go up and down,,,,Random times, any combination of these or all at once OR completely normal. All while driving.
I have had the "water under carpet issue" some spots of the carpet are still "damp" in spots but do not seem to be in areas where it would be in contact with wiring or grounding blocks. I have had the back seat out and it is dry underneath, Fuse Block is dry, wiring harness in chaseway under floor is dry. The Trunk is very dry and moisture free.
No particular weather relation, sunny warm and dry, or rainy cold and humid this occurs completely at random.
I have read about "serial Buss"referrences do I need to investigate this further ? if so has anyone had the experience and give me some hints ? I have the complete set of Helms manuals for this car.

You may want to check the drain plugs in your floor pans if you carpet is wet. Also check the weatherstriping on the doors and see if they are in good shape, they can leak too. Check your computer for codes, go to autozone and they will check the computer for codes for you for free.
