Code reader/programmer

Is there an aftermarket code reader or scanner that works similar to the Tec-2 (sp?) diagnostic tool the GM techs use? The dealer made some changes to the program but due to the "undefined" options in the list we still do not have the door locks programmed correctly. It would be nice if I could check the program and investigate those strange options listed until I get the program right. Of course if GM had just left the personalization program alone I would be able to do that myself from the dash.:banghead:

Is there any hardware device or even PC program available?
