1997 honda civic ex swap

I have a sohc vtec. What would be an easy swap that i can use my exsiting motor mounts. i want to swap the motor but i am on a budget.what motor may i swap

you can swap any B series engine in there using your existin motor mounts.. and it all depends on your budget on which engine you're gonna get.. the cheapest 1 would be the B18b1 thats the integra LS motor.. you can pick 1 up fairly cheap around 1200 or less with engine and tranny but that engine is non-vtec. your harness is wired for vtec so u will have to do some modification to it.. just save some money an go b16 or b18c1.. thats a honda civic Si motor (b16) and the integra gsr (b18c1)

Yea like ^^ said you can use your existing shitty water mounts with a Ls motor, All you have to do is predrill the rear mount a new hole and thats about it sides linkage...
