The word is Cavallino Rampante. any one tell me what this means and what the history is behind this? I would also like to know about stuttgart.

it means prancing horse, its the ferrari's logo and as for stuttgart it was where porsche was founded and is manufactured. i still would like to know how and y ferrari chose cavallino rampa (prancing horse or rearing horse).

I know why, but to better yourself search google. I wrote a history paper on Ferrari in high school. Type in that key word or just Ferrari - Prancing horse and it will come up

That's a city in Germany where Porsche's are made. Look at a good pic of their badge and it's on there too.

porsches arent built in stuttgart, the hq is but the cars are built in other german cities. and it kinda was founded there, vw was founded by f. porsche there, and eventually when he wanted to make his dream sports car(356) he built a plant there, and since the compan has grown to the beauty producing company it is now.
