Hello, I have a mint 2000 civic 3door of hatch, no mods... ok well sounds and a short shifter with new urithane bushings but thats it. I was thinking about a motor swap. I live in CA and was thinking about putting in a b16a2 si motor plus tranny, does anyone know of any better engines that would bolt in with no problems and be street legal? and how much do you think i am looking at, total with install. oh yeah where do i go about finding a newer engine? i heard of a place in AZ ...? thanks for all the help.

Any other B-series motor would fit nicely.

B18C1: 3rd gen Integra GS-R
B20B/Z: CR-V
B18C5: USDM Integra Type R
B18B: non-VTEC Integra engine (LS, GS, RS, SE)
B17A: 2nd gen Integra GS-R

That place you mentioned in Arizona - HASport. They specialize in swaps. They also make mount kits for H22A Civics.
