Actually, this hill was interesting but not too bad. Quite fun actually. You don't really "jump" the ridge, although this picture does make it look like it. However, this is the top of the ridge at the top of a steep slightly offcamber hill made of loose gravel, you come over the top using your sliders and come over the other side with is a small off camber in the other direction.

This trail was a good challenge for me, but not too difficult for Ian and Chuck. They ran the nasty trails earlier before akfox and I got there. our groups were split up for all of saturday. Akfox and I ran another trail that was quite challenging as well. This place is sweet. :) Between all of us we ran maybe 5% of the trails that are available there.

what shocked me was that the cable is only held on the spool by a screw the size of a finger nail. by the time we got off the "special trail" schluds cable was so mangled and twisted we justed wraped it around the arb.

What's up with the winch cable Schlud? Did you get it streched out to far and get it wound funny on the drum?

Yeah, it was all f*'d up. Mostly due to trying to make a free cable work, and lots of winching. I'll be ordering a new one before the next trip.
