2 or 3 washers for rear camber trick?Cackophony 06-23-2002, 12:16 PM I'm about to install some lowering springs on my 92 Civic h/b that will drop the car 2.3 inches. I've read that one washer should be used for each inch dropped when doing the rear camber fix. My question is, since my drop will be very close to 2.5 inches, should I use 2 or 3 washers? swedish 06-23-2002, 12:20 PM two washers then a thin one :D (seriously though) Cackophony 06-23-2002, 12:21 PM good idea, never though about doing that. Thanks :) 95civicman 06-23-2002, 01:09 PM or you could put on 2 then use the level and see how far it's off then put on 3 and see how far it's off and go for whichever one is closer. onesojourner 06-23-2002, 05:55 PM i have almost a 2 inch drop and i used one Cackophony 06-23-2002, 05:57 PM Which would be better, to use one too many washers, or one less then ideal? CXHatchback 06-23-2002, 08:54 PM 2 should be fine, I'm dropped about 3 and it's fine for me. CivicSiRacer 06-23-2002, 10:09 PM I would suggest 2 washers cause some negative camber is good for cornering. Postive camber (tops of the tires sticking out) is bad for handling. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
