Does anyone know the actual horsepower for a 99 3.1 i dont think its the LS if that matter but ive looked at many sites and everything is different one of them said the 98 3.1 has 191 and the 99 3.1 has 156 or somthin like that how is that possible

vin m was for the 97-99 malibu. they have restrictive heads and imtake manifolds compared to the 99-03 vin j 3100. and then there is slight differences between the 97-99, 2000-02, and 03. but all 99-03 vin J have 170 hp and 190 tq

mine...about 130...but still runs-so i don't complain
