Ok, so my 2000 civic EX also did not come with the keyless entry REMOTE... much less the original key... they must have lost them..

SO, how would you people recommend i go about getting a new one or maybe just install an aftermarket cheap alarm with keyless entry MYSELF if its do able.

Did you buy yours at a dealer, the same thing happend to me and I just told them to install it and they did. Its an EX which means it has to have it period. If you bought it from a regular person, just call a local honda dealer and find out how much it would be to get new key fobs.
