This hypercar produces 500hp @ 10,500rpms from a 2.4l engine (same displacement as a 2006 F1 car). Lateral acceleration is at 3Gs, and breaking deceleration is at 3Gs. Its also designed by many of the same guys that designed the McLaren F1. 0-60 under 2.5, 0-100 under 5.0. Street legal! "T1 is the ultimate track day car, it is a car born from a pure engineering base with no compromises" The Veyron look like an overly extravagant rich-mans car, the T1 will be the true driver's supercar. I am absolutely in love with this car. Any audio clips of the engine available?? DinanM3_S2 02-08-2006, 11:47 PM Very, very nice!! Any audio clips of the engine available?? Not yet, i've been searching around for everything i can get. Based on the specs I'd just find a clip of a Ferrari 248 F1 and turn down the volume :) clawhammer 02-10-2006, 12:19 AM Is this supposed to go more than 253 mph? DinanM3_S2 02-10-2006, 12:57 AM Nope, its not designed for top speed. It sacrifices high speed for massive amounts of downforce. Their website says it should do around 200mph. Chiquae07 02-10-2006, 01:46 AM tahts crazy....0-100<5 sec...thats like what 1.4 mile...maybe 7s? directory 02-10-2006, 01:15 PM damn fast... BlackGT2000 02-10-2006, 04:01 PM Wow looks like there is finally competition for the SRT-4! G-man422 02-10-2006, 04:28 PM ^ yeah w/e. But anyways, that thing is AWESOME! i bet it can out maneuver any car out there. mason_RsX 02-11-2006, 05:45 PM Wow thats a monster...The problem with the Veryon is that ppl get stuck on the fact that its <1000hp Its really not a sports car, its a touring car with a ton of nice little luxury options that add weight and hurt performance...If I want a supercar I want it to have NOTHING but the proper racing and safety accessories, and mabe a vent The T1 looks like it has that DinanM3_S2 02-12-2006, 05:21 PM Wow thats a monster...The problem with the Veryon is that ppl get stuck on the fact that its <1000hp Its really not a sports car, its a touring car with a ton of nice little luxury options that add weight and hurt performance...If I want a supercar I want it to have NOTHING but the proper racing and safety accessories, and mabe a vent The T1 looks like it has that I see what you're saying about the Veyron, but its even hard for me to call it a tourer. The idea behind a GT car is that you will go on long trips with it. In the case of the Veyron however, there is no trunk, so unless you are driving alone and put your luggage in the other seat, its useless as a GT car too. In the famous Top Gear where Clarkson drove the Veyron, he probably had all of his luggage in the Range Rover camera car. The fact is that when you try to get more and more power out of a car, you will add a disproportionate amount of weight to the car as well. Sure the Veyron has 1,000hp, but it also has 10 radiators cooling the whole thing. 4,300lbs is far too much for a modern supercar. Foolish arbritrary marks like 1,000hp and 250mph ruined the Veyron. They had a chance to throw millions of dollars into something that could have been simply amazing (like the McLaren was in the 90's), but I'm afraid that they fell way short. The Freestream will be the anti-Veyron, and will be better off for it. Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com! Registration is absolutely free. |
