Can I get to 250,000 OK or do I need to get it done NOW!. -I plan on getting rid of it in the summer, so by then it should have about 250,000kms. Thanks Folken mines got 200000 + miles and i think youre pushing it.. change it NOW.. it can break anytime at that mileage.. sure, it can make it to 250k .. maybe even 300k.. but it can brake before that and as time past the greater the chance.... so it now or face a risk to do a valve job while changing your broken belt... as in 16 bent valve at 45$ CDN each plus the time to tchange them...or buying a head which will include a headgasket, TIME again.. and more $$$. Deadring folken 02-10-2006, 05:03 PM thanks for replys....any others????? mobil_12 02-10-2006, 06:20 PM Scheduled maintainence for the timing belt is every 96,000km. If its been 96k its time to change it, and soon. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
