alright...my problem is that my amp wont turn on. I checked the voltage going to the amp with a multimeter and it was 12 volts...so obviously it isnt battery problems...
I think it might be problems with my remote wire, because i've had problems with it before...(not sending enough power to turn on the amp)
anybody have any ideas?

i think you may have just answered your own question.
jump a lead from the power wire to the remote turn on..see if amp turns on.

yeah...i used to do that quite a bit because my amp wouldnt turn on...
i've tried that numerous times now, but all the amp does is turn on for half a second, and turn back off right away. (it also sparks more than it used to...)
also...i tried plugging in a brand new alpine mrp-m350 to it....and the power didnt come on either...
