hey i have a 98 escort estate 1.8 td thats hard to start in the morning , its fine when its been run for a while but no matter how many times i use the glow plugs it still takes 2 or 3 long attempts to start. i was thinking maybe a glowplug down?? can any 1 help

You can do a simple continuity check through a glowplug to see if t is good or not. If they check out ok, suspect the controller that operates them.
