Most bang for the buck?

I've got a 94 Integra GSR, completely stock. I love it! What a great car. Anyway, I am starting to think about fixing it up a little. What are your opinions on the best performance mods on a budget? I'd also really like to up the performance without really changing the look...make it a sleeper....

Well from what ive seen with GS-R's it seems as though the first three mods that are good AEM cold air intake, headers and exhaust, id recommend DC headers cause ive heard good words about those, with exhaust im not too sure but im sure greddy or apexi are good companies. You can also advance your timing a bit and thats free and pretty easy to do and i noticed it when i did it to my car. Its about a 4-5 gain at the wheels on dyno runs ive seen, but don't go to far cause that can cause engine damage, basically if you advance it too much when you run it you will hear a pinging sound, that means a little less adjustment, i will try to find a easy way to explain how to do it, like a web page or something.

This shows you how to use a timing gun to advance timing but you don't have to use it, jsut gotta be careful and not get to greedy.

One last thing, if you advance your timing make sure to use AT LEAST 89 octane gas but 92 is recommended.

It seems like there are a million brands of cold air intake. What are the better ones? Can you just add that, and not do the other mods at the same time?

I don't know about cold air intakes, but the KN Typhoon is a really good intake system. I noticed a difference in sound and performance after I installed it. It isn't that expensive either. That's a plus:D

Yeah AEM is the proven best one, DAC is good too but i would only get a AEM...and yes you can jsut do a cold air intake and its fine.

AEM CAI and DC Sports headers. I have the 4-1 DC Sports headers on my B18C1 and I love it.
