the battery, a/t oil temp and the brake light came on all at once in my 1997 infiniti qx4 auto, i also hear a slight whirring sound from the engine area now.. the car drives fine but i do feel it being a lil bogged down .. what could this be .. has anyone faced the problem . Please help!

check if you blew any fuses, check your alternator

That means your alternator has failed on you. Get it tested immediately before it leaves you stranded in the middle of nowhere when your battery goes dead. Most auto parts shops will test the alt for free on the vehicle if you go ask.
