power surge protection

i just dropped a lot of money into my system now I just have to install it so i was wondering what i could get to protece from power surges.

what can I get to protect from power surges so my stuff wont blow.

all good (and even decent) amps are heavily protected by special internal circuitry. You just need a fuse or circuit breaker in the engine bay to protect the battery.

Since I have 2 amps would there be a difference in which distributor I bought.
I found one with fuses and one without fuses.

Is there a difference in quality?

the ones with the fuses tend to be more convenient if you are gonna fuse the amps
