Well, I got rid of the beast the other day (On to other things). But I think I'll leave those pics in my sig for sentiment.

How much did you sell it for, and what do you plan on getting for your next car?

$7000... I know, 7 grand is crazy for a DX, but hey, someone paid for it. My next car will most likely be a 2003 Corolla S. Either that or 1996 Audi A4

The one I drove I enjoyed. I considered an RSX and a Celica as well, but if I wanted an RSX I would want the Type S, and if I wanted a celica, I would want the GT-S. Neither of which I can afford.

If you want the corolla S, i think the Matrix is has the same engine as the corolla S. 180 hp 6-speed MT. I like how the matrix looks more than the corolla.

Get a 5th gen hatch and throw a B18C1 in that mother... After a few bolt ons, you'll be able to beat the RSX Type-S and the Celica GT-S. Not to mention for $18,000 less!

nah, no used cars for me. and as for the Matrix, with the shit I want in it, it'll top off around 18,000 - 19,000. A Corolla S with Power package would run me around 15,000 (I got a quote)

You won't have much aftermarket support, but I guess you aren't looking for a project car! Good luck!

Well, I bought a car today... No, not a corolla S, not a 96 A4, but...

a 1997 Nissan Maxima GXE.

When I test drove the thing and hit the gas off a merge on the highway, man, the power. I knew I had to get it.

i would like to start out by saying :flipa: :flipa: :flipa: wow, i can honestly say that i have never heard of a bigger piece of shit than a civic... shit i would rather PUSH a minivan than drive a civic. and i could probably beat one too... my friend told me he wanted a civic... so i told him that that would mean i would have to go borrow my aunt's stock '94 camry to race him. i have absolutely nothing against japanese cars, love 'em actually, but man, some poople just try wayyyyy toooo harrrdd!!!!! i can think of soooooo many stories of embassing hooked up civics in a stock A4 1.8T...

ok take this into concideration... take a civic.... now add a GIANT spoiler and a really loud exhaust. now add a rotating blade underneath and... VIOLA!!! you're free to mow the lawn. shit if you squint your eyes that shit even LOOKS like a lawn mower...

as odd as this may sound i mean no disrespect to anyone, only honda owners that have NOTHING to o but HATE on everyone and think they have realy fast cars... i mean my EX girlfriend used to call her friends stock civic a rocket-ship.. notice how i said EX!!!!! anyway if you own a honda.. go stock or go streight back to te dealer and beg for mercy...
PS: oh man this is going to start ALOT of shit.. if you have anything to bitch about, write it somewhere that has to do with VW's i won't be in here any more

once again :flipa:
click the link.... i dare yah

glad you can read clearly. he didn't go german, he went jap with a nissan maxima.

sorry to hear about the civic. i sold my ex a little while ago, too. I miss it, but i have a nice hybrid in it's place. one of my friends has a 97 maxima gle i think. i kept up pretty well with the car and was pleased with my hatch's performance. maximas are nice- very smooth, nice pickup from a stand still and you've got aftermarket support, too.

dont listen to whatever that guy up above had to say, he has no clue.

There was a blue maxima in FnF that kicked ass. It looked really clean with a small kit on it. I think you should go for it!:p

Oh, on the test drive I busted a nut in my pants when I felt the accelleration. I dropped off the check today, and I am picking it up either tomorrow, or Friday.

I will miss my civic though.
