when replacing fan motor can you cut and slpice the wires?

You should be able to but in a DC circuit, polarity is crucial, and if you have more than two wires with a ground, there may be some circuitry for thermal cutoff, or tachohmeter. I wouldn't think that would be the case, as that is pretty technical, but possible. If you get the two wire with a ground system wrong, the only issue is that your fan will run backwards. :rofl: Just make sure you splice wire for wire, color for color. If they don't match, I wouldn't try it. The schematic of the fan circuit should indicate what the wires are for. You might want to get a Haynes book for that car. They are pretty good on the schematics.
