The door may be hitting then going behind the panel. That is what might be causing the clicking noise. Here is a pic...I hope you can correct the problem with your car. http://i1.tinypic.com/ndap76.png tayl0124 02-08-2006, 10:48 AM it is probably what they call the door checks. It is a common problem with these cars. It really isn't much of a problem unless they completly brake off. but it is annoying. Mine have been broken for 3 years already. 96cbring 02-09-2006, 11:19 PM mine makes the same dame noise and u hate it with a passion i have a 96 jxi how can i fix that shyt its not the hiting the fender and i have put wd40 everywere still the same shyt tayl0124 02-10-2006, 06:17 PM you have to replace the door checks. check out this site. A great sight for sebring owners. http://www.sebringclub.net/board/portal.php here is how to replace the checks. http://www.sebringclub.net/gallery/doorcheck Hope this helps. jerhenz 02-23-2006, 05:59 PM Mine does the same thing every year or two. It is because the convertable doesn't support the doors as well as a hard top, and the door droops enough to make intermittent contact with the door sensors. It takes 10 minutes to tighten it up while holding the door in place. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
