Had car for 1 year, had windows tinted shortly after purchase, when doors were unlocked with remote, they would lock before you could open the door, found drivers door panel guide rubbing on the lock, thought I had it fixed, but every now and then the doors will lock for no reason, last night my wife started the car, let it warm up for 10 minutes, put my daughter in her car seat and shut the door, before she could open the drivers door, the doors locked themselves and I had to rush a spare key over, can't figure this one out, no one pushed the lock button. wtf? Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Some window tinters use a *lot* of water in the process of tinting the windows. It's possible that you have some sort of a short in the power window switch. Is this happening ever since you got the windows tinted, or was it doing it before too?

I had the windows tinted only a couple of days after buying the car, so I don't know for sure if it did it before or not. It has been over a year since they were tinted, I am leaning towards the door lock control module in the drivers door has failed.
