I have a 02 V6 Highlander and planning to take it overseas where this car is not on sale yet. I heard the Highlander have the same engine as the Camry or Avalon.
Any body knows confirm this for both the engine and transmission.

It's true that Highlander uses same engine/tranny as Camry/Avalon.
