I swapped my f22b2 for an h22a......I LOVE IT!!!!!! i think after my intake, headers and exhaust...i gained at least 20 hp.....so that brings me up to like 220? as for the engine mounts.....you can order them through your local performance shop or online on swap site....as far as i know there are about 3 or 4 mounts you need and then it just drops right in! as far as power goes.....i hope i run 11's or 12's.....my stock engine ran 16's or 18's i think....... at night i go about 145 mph with the ease of a hot knife through butter! a few tips though:
1) GET A SHORT SHIFTER!!!!! you'll love it......
2) Sell your stock engine when your done....i put mine in the local paper and sold it for 600 the next day!

anyways.......hope that answers your question! have fun!

awesome dude, thanks a lot for the feedback. I'm definitely gonna do it i just gotta save the $$. i wanna work on the head of the h22 and change the cams and do like a valve job and then get some good headers and things like that so i can hope fully run in the 14s.

may i ask why you would want to change the cams? they flow better than a B18C5 engine and almost as good as the F20C engine.

BTW....i only paid 2500 for everything.....including labor....i have a friend who is a mechanic at my local honda....he let me know when a wrecked prelude came in....plus he installed it.....not bad for a certified honda tech....huh? IMO....make friends with your local honda tech....it pays...good luck!!

Nowhere near it unless you're also turbo'd. A stock Prelude runs a very low 15. So your car with the Lude engine probably runs a not so low 15...15.4 maybe? Somewhere right around that would be my guess.

after simple bolt-ons (headers, exhaust, intake) you could hit the high 14s

My H22 swap hopefully will be done this week... I have been waiting for the OBD II JDM H22 for about 36 days now, and it should be in on Monday... The shipping sucked, took way too long even if it was coming from Japan... I can't wait.. I already got AEM cam gears, AEM pulleys, DC headers, AEM CAI, Random Technoligies Cat, and a Tanabe Super Racing Medallion... I won't have ETs for a few weeks though, gotta work all the kinks out and get it tuned.. I estimate September she will be ready for some serious track... I plan on having it ported and polished, and some serious internals done, hopefully I will be hitting low 13's to high 12's... I know thats a stretch but it can be done... I want it to be all motor... I know turbo or supercharging it would make for faster times, but all motor is what I prefer.. If I can get into the 13's I will be happy...
