5.7 liter SFI 4x4

this vehicle has a hard to start condition after it runs for a while i've checked for excessive presure drop after it sits and it lost about 30 psi after 40 mins which seems excessive to me, i was just wondering if anyone has ever experienced anything like this and if maybe i'm looking in the wrong place i work at a ford dealership and have very little GM knowledge
