Best BMW 3 series Extended Warranty?blueprint3 02-04-2006, 12:45 PM Bought an '03 325ic from a non BMW dealer....2k left on the new car warranty but I want to buy an extended warranty and maintenance. BMW quoted me 1295 for the maintenance piece 2yrs/50K. Nissan quoted me 1600 for 4 yrs/48K on the warranty. Unless I take it to Nissan, I have to pay up front then get reimbursed. Help! DinanM3_S2 02-04-2006, 03:24 PM I wouldn't trust anyone that doesn't know BMWs specifically with my car. A good BMW dealership is the way to go in my opinion. For at least the first couple of years I would only go to the dealership. During that time you should do some research and find a good alternate mechanic for when your warranty expires. rdialber 03-19-2006, 09:22 AM Best advice buy the longest extended warranty you can. Everything that fails is expensive to repair or replace. The car is not perfect and shit happens. I have a 2002 and bought the extended warranty. Good thing. I am having trouble with the A/C and it is intermitent. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
