going thru my 92 Integra 1.8 160k brakes and struts all the way around...exhaust from the cat back...transaxle seal...oil pan gasket...and now I've just finished a valve clearance adjustment and noticed when I brought each piston to TDC, the timing belt goes kinda slack between the two cam gears/sprockets, and back to being taught between TDC's...is this normal??? the belt is in pretty good condition and the engine runs good...is the belt stretched and in need of replacement? should I button it back up and forget about it? thanx in advance for any help

the belt needs to be tight between the two cam gears and have no more than an inch deflection from the exhaust cam to the crank. wouldnt hurt to replace or retighten.
