clawhammer 02-22-2006, 06:52 AM I would recommend staying away from DSMs unless you're a mechanic or really like working on your car every weekend. My sister drives a DSM, it only has 105k miles, she put on 10k of them, and it has been maintained very well by the previous owner. She's had idle issues, oil consumption, now suspension rattle, brake caliper is going bad, and I could go on and on. Heck, my 200k+ miles CRX had less problems in the 25k miles that I drove it. CivRacer95 02-22-2006, 11:43 PM cav = good gas milage, and great insurance. just make sure u get a +96 z24, and you'll love the car. its like as fast as a gsr i think...not sure. cuz ran 15.8 stock...96 z24 with the 2.4L engine...only prob is tq steer and wheel hop. new motor mounts should fix that The GSR stock would run a low 15 sec 1/4 with a decently good driver(stock). So, in a race with two comparable drivers, GSR>Cavy. As for getting fucked by your insurance, that's a bitch! So what years for cars are you looking for? It looks like you would like something that is 2000+. Hrm....
