A friend of mine wants to sell me his 72 wagoneer, but i really dont know much about jeeps, (Im a TOYOTA guy) i was wondering wut you all thought about this jeep: it has a 5.9L 360 with an auto tranny, minimum rust, 31X8X10.5 wheels and runs.(basicaly all it needs is a paint job, door pannels, and a lift) he wants to sell it to me for $800. Is this a good deal, where can i get a lift for it??? :dunno: Any info on this jeep would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
ChRiZ

WOO HOO!!!!
This is a full size jeep (FSJ for short).
They were made from 1963 through 1990 and received many detailed improvements along the way.
They are just as tough and rugged as other Jeeps and have a strong off-road following and parts and tech support.

Since that one has a non-smogger AMC 360 V8, you are miles ahead than most surviving FSJ's which came with a 4.2 straight six or an emissions 360.

IMO thats a good deal, I would take it in a shot.

Could you give me some more info on the FSJ, like HP,torque, Gear ratio, and place where to find a 6 inch lift and restoration parts for it please. Any info would be greatly appreciated .
Thanks,
ChRiZ
