Tire recommendationfury2714 02-03-2006, 10:49 AM The SE-R has so much torque. It's hard to save tires. What tires would you recommend? nismo_pilot 02-03-2006, 11:53 AM 225/45/17ZR Falken Azenis.........a little more expensive than a few others but i doubt your wheels will be spinning much unless you really try slideways... 02-03-2006, 11:56 AM michelin pilot sport cups kumho ecsta MX falken azenis (rt215 if you can find em or rt615) dunlop SP sport W10 bfg gforce KD any drag radials yokohama a032R oh wait you probly wont want R-compound on the street lol... fugiot 02-03-2006, 02:19 PM I think Kumho Ecstas are the best value for the price. nismo_pilot 02-04-2006, 09:29 PM <--- running kumho ecsta's..... mine are only 205/40 though..... great wet traction tire which the stock conti sucks at.......doesnt grip quite as well though, it may be fixed by going with a 225 width though neogeon 02-09-2006, 10:37 PM The Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 was car and driver's #1 rated tire when they compared 10 or so sticky tires. They actually have a pretty high treadwear of 280 and are second to none in wet traction and just barely behind in dry. I know thats what I'm getting to replace these crappy continentals. nismo_pilot 02-09-2006, 10:50 PM ^^^^ and they are also 250-300 per tire neogeon 02-09-2006, 11:26 PM ^^^^ and they are also 250-300 per tire :shakehead :iamwithst try $144, source: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireDetail.do?yr=2002&c=1&sw=false&cs=215&pc=31651&rd=17&vid=007453&ar=45 lets try not to misinform people k? p.s. don't take this offensively, I just like using smilies :) nismo_pilot 02-10-2006, 12:13 PM ^^^ if i could have found them for that cheap it would have been a good idea, when i was looking the wanted 235 i think was the best i could find, i stand corrected neogeon 02-10-2006, 04:20 PM ^^^ if i could have found them for that cheap it would have been a good idea, when i was looking the wanted 235 i think was the best i could find, i stand corrected where did you shop? ripofftireco.com? Although, if you buy them from a store they will do that to you sometimes, my friend was in a pinch when he got a flat on his FD RX-7 and had to find tires for his 18" rims and he ended up paying like $800+ total for 4 tires of some off brand crap called "mastercrafts." I highly recommend shopping around for tires once you decide on what brand and model you want as the prices will vary tremendously. nismo_pilot 02-11-2006, 02:07 AM tire rack i think...... or perhaps it was a diff model number of the eagle....... i only paid 65 a peice for my kumhos and couldnt be happier SR20B12 02-11-2006, 12:37 PM well here is my plug  http://www.lesschwab.com/home.html vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
