...something similar to watching Initial D.
This was the case yestaurday. I was heading back from seeing a client, was trying to rush back to the office. Turns out there was some pretty good amount of traffic. Just so you know, i speed in traffic (hell if you have room who doesnt), but i dont normally race in it. I made an exception this time since i was in too much of a rush.

So im weaving in and out of traffic when i caught the eye of a g35 coupe. He pulled up behind me and started trailing me, this guy could actually drive the car (unlike so many others in miami). We do this for a few minutes when it became a game of cat and mouse, he realized (finally) that his car can out do mine, problem for him is that i started seeing cones...every car infront of me turned into moving cones!:eek2:

This guy starts trying to pass me but cant because im going through smaller gaps between cars then i was before. And now car by car he gets left behind.
Im now at a red light in the front of the traffic group and my vision returns to normal, well till a 5.0 stock mustang rolls up next to me reving his engine cause he saw what i was doing. Light turns green and lets just say he's got a smaller penis now since i was in too much of a rush.:smokin:

I've done that before...kept puling on a 350Z in somewhat slow moving DTFW traffic by weaving in and outa cars (stupid, I know)...But once we got open highway, yeah, he left me behind...good kill.

unfortunatly for the g35 there were no open highways coming up, just more traffic.

Id call that being a hypocrit. You work with insurance but drive like you just escaped from the local nut hut..........I commend you on it :evillol:

Oh, I've done crazy things sure. But I always made sure I was on a stretch of road that had just me... or the very least the other car I'm playing with.

Same with the freeway, whenever I played around it was always late at night, mostly after 11pm and on the straight stretches that were desolate.

I'm not saying I'm perfect, but I took every precaution when I did do stupid shit. I'm not sure about you guys, but I'd like to actually make it home at night.

I've never weaved in and out of traffic. Ever.

I rode with a friend once who did, mainly I think to impress me. I wasn't impressed, well I was with how stupid he was. And I never rode with him again. My other friends at the time thought this guy was 'the shit' cause he had little reguard for personal safety for himself, or the other people in his car or those he weaved around.

It eventually got the better of him and he wrecked his car. He was speeding (80mph) for no reason down a stretch of road (city streets) and a car pulled out of nowhere and he swerved lost control and he jumped a high curb and hit his car head on into a telephone pole. He was okay, unharmed. But the car was totalled.

It's the stupid, I mean really stupid acts that piss me off. Weaving in and out of traffic ugh. I can't tell you how many times I've been driving my work van down the freeway to get buzzed by mere inches by some asshole who thinks he's God's gift to motorsport. Some of the time I can see them coming through traffic, sometimes they come from out of nowhere in my blind spots and scare the hell out of me.

just for the record, i did say i dont normally do this and that i was in a rush anyways. Just so happens that the G35 was tailing me and trying to play cat and mouse with me, to me thats even more recless then what i was doing and im glad i lost him and made my way to the front of traffic where i was able to haul it the rest of the way without anyone bothering me, except for the guy in the mustang but he wasnt able to hang around long enough to cause me trouble.
Oh and as for the insurance rates, i deal enough with them to tell you that is all BS, most companies dont even care about driving record, the first thing they do INSTEAD of running your license number is running your credit score, bad credit will make you have a higher rate because they want to know if your going to pay or not. Progressive, geico, allstate, statefarm, and any other major ones check your credit, next after that they check to see what car it is and how much the car is worth if you have physical damage, then they see if you have previous insurance, followed by the age and how long you have had your license, and finally is your driving record.
I have clients who have a few speeding tickets, but because their credit was good their quote was still cheaper then as if i was doing my own. Thats just a little insight for you guys...

oh and 209 the small penis thing, he deserved it.

This is true.

But as I stated originally, I'm no saint when it comes to driving. I do the stupid stuff too, but when I do. I do it in as controlled an environment as I possibly can. Yes, that's a very hypocritical thing to say, I can admit to that.... but that's how I roll dawg. :)

i remember the 120mph runs we made in the GS-T when my friend had it, we left at 7:35 every day and were at school (~10 miles away) in a bout 10 minutes :icon16: sux about the film crew though, its pretty rural around here, though a couple of us have gotten profile'd :uhoh:

oh and good kill!! moving cones are crazy! worse when cones actually collide

junior year of hs, we were allowed one off campus lunch per week, and we would usually go to the nearby mall. Trying to make it back on time caused more accidents and speeding then anything i've seen. Almost every other week someone got T boned or hit something. I topped out my moms van at 100mph while going around dump trucks as another guy was goin 130 in front of me, a friend tried to take the turn into school at 70 and hit a fire hydrant, another hit a large van with his jeep and flew into an embankment.

the funniest one was that a girl had a bday, and her friends got her a bunch of balloons and put them in her car. When she tried to leave school she couldnt see past the balloons and hit a car.

It was seriously insane now that i think back about it.

10 miles in about 10 minutes... is averaging roughly 60mph... so you're not going all that fast.

lol, well i went down that part of the road at 90 this morning, damn my post diddnt work from school. but yea, try 5 miles in 10 min....and with moving slow turtles in everylane....i only go that fast for about 1/2 a mile since after that the cops are always there and since its a school area, the damn kids are always throwing themselfs in front of cars....

Red I totally agree with you man -

There is this dumbass kid in my school who drives like a maniac. I hate getting rides from him ever - the kid speeds up to like 85 miles an hour and then proceeds to jerk the wheel and make the car swerve all over the place. I always pass him and I never see a time where he is just driving - he is ALWAYS racing himself.

Not to mention he drives a volvo with PLASTIC chrome colored hub caps now because he took his ESi and slid out in the rain going 60 miles an hour. Flew into a median, ran over a tree, crossed oncoming traffic, hit another curb, flew partly through a rod iron fence, partly through a cement wall - caught 2 feet of air and landed in someone's back yard. Yeah. It's cool to drive wrecklessly.

damn, i cant believe this thread is still going on. Just so you know, my friends love the way i drive even though im going fast at times cause i dont swing my car reclessly, im not some idiot driver who thinks he owns the road. Think about how many insurance claims i get a year, why would i want to be one of them? I do stupid shit, but nothing to get me in serious trouble. We all do stupid shit, if we didnt then this forum wouldnt even be here to begin with. so lets let this thread die and be on our way. Good-day!
