What do you guys think about this?J SPEC SilEighty 06-20-2002, 04:28 PM I was browsing ebay and saw this on there. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1838049957 check it out and tell me what you think. I could either do the buy it now for 2k or wait and see if anybody else decides to bid on it and maybe I could get it for less than 2k. It's got a hell of a lot of miles on it but say that I got it for 2k then I would have 3.5k left which could be enough for an S13 SR swap. My dad and I would be installing it ourselves so I wouldn't have to pay labor or anything. It's in Philadelphia though which is about 275 miles from me but I could make the drive to pick it up. He says the clutch and shocks along with other things that he listed were recently replaced. What do you think about it? Thanks Toxic 06-21-2002, 12:18 AM I'd get it if you're definately getting the SR20DET engine swap. If I already had the money for the swap and my 240sx and some left over..I'd find a 240sx with like 200,000 miles on it. I mean, it'll cost ALOT less, and you could use the rest of the money for the new engine, springs, and whatever else you need to replace. And you'll probably have some more money left over since the car should be pretty cheap. But I don't have much knowlege on these cars, and this is just my opinion. There is still one for sale near me but the guy is asking to much for it and he's not very willing to bargain. He's asking 3500 for it and it's got 135k on the engine. Even though I plan on swapping the engine for an SR, he's still asking to much. He's got a nice system in there and so I offered him 2800 cash and he could take his system out and keep that but he still wouldn't sell it to me. I don't know I might offer him 3k this coming weekend but we'll see. It drives nice and everything works great but I guess I would just rather pay less for that amount of miles it has.
