1991 ford ranger wont turn over

i have a 1991 ford ranger with a 4.0 v6 and if i push start it and pop the clutch it runs fine but when i turn the key the starter just clicks, ive replaced the starter twice and i know its good i tried it on another truck and i also replaced the selenoid on the side wall and the ignition switch but i still cant figure it out any helpfull info will be greatly appreciated thank you

You say "it" clicks,what clicks? Is it the solenoid on the fender?If you have a good battery and all the wires between the battery and starter are good w/good connections,it should go. You can short between the small terminal and the battery side of the solenoid with truck in neutral and ignition switch on,if it starts, look at clutch switch or problem in that circuit.
