If you have read rules you would have seen that it specifically states "It should be kept to an absolute minimum in the technical forums (if at all) and kept in check in any off-topic thread/section such as COT."

In any COT, off-topic thread/section, the rules are up to the discrection of the moderator of that section. Just don't go over board.

I was being sarcastic. lol but thanks. Yeah, 89 knew his stuff but there are quite a few members that I learn stuff from all the time. Wright, Morley , Mr.Luos and Geno all taught me a thing or two about a few different parts of cars. I mean I was raised around working on machines so I had a background before I joined AF but a few things were a little dazy to how they actually worked.

PS- But I am serious about only wanting a 200 post count. I have modded three forum on AF and started a few off topics threads in each of my forums so alot of my posts are from non car related stuff. Which really should count towards all my post count.

Oh shit :eek: , thats right. I forgot that I did that. Yeah, I guess that does. I don't think I ever post whored to raise my count though. I could have but don't remember it. I also don't ever remember making a thread to celebrate my post count but to each there own. I just think that if your going to post there should be some value to it. If it be Humor or techinical help. Rather than a post saying 3 or so post til I hit so and so. To me thats just a waste, what does a reader care that your 3 posts away from 500 or what do you care if another member is 4 away from 1000 or 2000 or 5000... To me post count carry no weight if there being abused and we just let anything go up. Hey I don't care about post counts. Could do away with the whole system and I wouldn't give it a second thought but if we are going to use the system of posts being registered like I said there should be some value to them. I don't care if its a wise remark or a funny story or someone saying they enjoyed another members story, thats cool. Someone besides the poster gets something out of it.

Its a system that give members points based on other members submitting that there post was helpful. So each post a member makes , another members can add points to them,. However I can post that my ass itches and you would be able to give me points. System really didn't work all that well from the looks of it. Just seemed like a popularity contest.

I think that movie looks dumb.. I mean, even if the kid was going to help her mother from falling, the time that it would take for her to take one hand off the ledge then onto his would be enough for her to fall down.. so in the end the kid is not evil but feels no pain, doesnt care about others, and knows when there's no hope..
