I asked the firebird forums and no one answered, does anyone know why the firebird wasn't in GT4?

guess it had issues concerning the use of it's design. or possibly because they weren't on the "priority list" when it came to choosing cars for the game. could be a number of things, are firebirds as popular as camaros?

Probably cause its basically the same exact car as the camaro and to answer the question about popularity. Camaro has always had a larger following in my eye's anyway but both cars have had and continue to have a strong following. The design ques are just different. The camaro to me is more muscle car design while the Firebird is more of sports car design. but under the panels beats the same exact heart.

PS- I allow a little post whoring here and there in the banter thread. These guys know to stay within resonable bounds though. Although if I did away with post whoring all together. Where the hell would Rally go?

No, they dont. GT4 is a fun game, but I find its not as accurate as it could be. Believe it or not, I like NFSMW alot better.

While we're talking about racing games, I'll add my favorite, NFS:Hot Pursuit 2. The best part of NFSHP2 are the engine sounds, which top any game (I've played so far) in accuracy of the exhaust. And if you crash, you lose your muffler haha. In gt4, the cars like someone voiced them

I heard of a drag racing game for the console, I forget what it was called.

i dunno. all the ones i have seen are crap.

No such thing as a good drag racing game.. the one that came closest was NFSU 1 and 2.. in Most Wanted, it didnt tell you when to shift good so its all on chance..

The thing is you cant please everyone, thats why something like that is almost impossible..

I can do burnouts and donuts in a Z06 in NFSHP2, that's what I love about it. I'm convinced the steering sucks though.
