My first street race.karll 01-28-2006, 04:57 PM I was heading out to see my lady friend and I came across a kid, about my age (17), in a 240sx. He had his stereo up loud playing some high bass music. He got on in a little bit and so did I. We made it to the next light fairly uneventfully. At the next light he launched it somewhat. Enough to chirp the tires. I matted it and pulled ahead by a bit. I only took it to about 60, so it may not seem like a real race to you all, but I had him the whole way. I backed off and gave him a bit of a wave, he seemed angry to be beaten by a rust bucket but I enjoyed it for my first street race. notes: 77 chevy heavy 454ci inched out an early 90's 240sx, but only to 60. BP2K2Max 01-28-2006, 05:50 PM nice, that's a hell of a lot of car for a 17 year old. be careful out there. 209 SRT 01-28-2006, 05:57 PM if it was a stock 240 I dont see why not good kill........ clawhammer 01-28-2006, 06:00 PM How many car lengths did you have him by? Sounds like one hell of a shoot out. karll 01-30-2006, 11:22 PM I've never heard of a Chevy Heavy, my bad, I only like to research fast cars. So a truck with a car enginge vs a car with a truck engine. Sounds like one hell of a shoot out. Haha, it was. Like the OK corral. It's basically a chevy c10(half ton, 2wd) but it's called a Heavy Half cause of the 454.
