Are any codes being thrown?

Oh, and if its the V6, you have a 3.0L, not a 3.5...

Its a very real possibility that its your coolant temperature sensor (located near the thermostat housing on the 3.0L, oval shaped connector, has two wires, I believe).

Either that or the wiring is screwed or the fan is screwed...

Thanks - if it warms up I will look at that next. When I drive it I get tempted to keep it. Has been a good little care. But this grandma needs to grow up.... hmmmmmm. The car has been sitting since July with only a few start up - had to replace battery. The only codes I have pulled up are 3 and 5 -If my memory serves me right when I got the car 5 was due to battery. Will have to look up the other one. As long as I have someone's attention - How do I test the fan?:disappoin

well, the only other thing it could be is the fan controller relay, located in the relay box in the engine bay...

not sure of how to test the fan without pulling the connectors or jumping the above relay...

also, check all the fuses as well...
